     A beginning improvisation book for intermediate students, it is basically rock-oriented style tunes, written in all major keys with an optional 'improv' section in the middle of each tune.  The pieces are completely diatonic and a fun way to have students playing with various key signatures so it serves as a scale and chord book supplement.

"Making Music with a Hearing Loss: Strategies and Stories:

     A collaborative effort by two audiologists who are experts on music and hearing loss, it includes stories by adult musicians with hearing loss.  It covers the interplay between music, speech and hearing devices and discusses hearing conservation for musicians.

All proceeds from book sales go to the Adult Association of Musicians with Hearing Loss.
